How we supply

Supply modes

Three ways to receive the gas, differing by how much you use and how you work. Pick the one that fits, or ask us to advise.

Compressed gas cylinders

Gas compressed into steel cylinders, delivered full and exchanged for empties. The most flexible option when consumption is intermittent or spread across several sites.

Best for

Low to medium consumption — workshops, hospitals, laboratories and mobile work sites

Gases available this way

  • O₂ Oxygen
  • N₂ Nitrogen
  • Ar Argon

Cryogenic liquid — dewars

Insulated vessels holding the gas as a liquid at very low temperature. A dewar carries far more gas than a cylinder of the same size, and can be drawn off as either liquid or gas.

Best for

Higher volumes without installing a fixed tank, and any process that uses the gas in liquid form

Gases available this way

  • O₂ Oxygen
  • N₂ Nitrogen
  • Ar Argon

Bulk road tankers

Liquefied gas delivered by refrigerated tanker straight to the customer's site. The most economical route for large, continuous consumption, and it cuts the number of deliveries.

Best for

Large, continuous consumption — steel and glass plants, chemical industries and water treatment

Gases available this way

  • O₂ Oxygen
  • N₂ Nitrogen

Who we are

About us

Syrian Natural Resources Company (LLC) is the leading company in Syria in investment and industry. It offers a range of innovative solutions built on continually improved technology for producing air gases — oxygen, nitrogen and argon — along with many other gases.

The company draws on more than 40 years of producing and marketing gases through Nabik Oxygen Factory, which places it among the first in Syria in this field. The project grew out of the global development of the gas industry and the shift towards liquefaction, together with rising Syrian demand for medical and industrial gases. Our ambition is to lead our industry through performance and responsibility.

What drives us

Vision, mission and values

What we work towards, and how we work.

  • Our vision

To be a leading investment company built on the most advanced management and scientific systems, earning the trust of investors and spreading a culture of successful teamwork. Our work begins with the air separation plant, and we intend to become an incubator for many investment projects in the years ahead — contributing to the rebuilding of Syria.

  • Our mission

To build an integrated team with clearly divided duties and responsibilities, able to carry any project through: the economic study, the capital required, the company's organisational structure, the production and marketing plans, and the technical and administrative expertise needed to realise our vision.

  • Our commitments

Our ethical obligations matter as much as our financial ones — towards our employees, the environment and the communities we work in. They are set out in the strict procedures the company applies to safety, health, environment and quality: the same procedures that make the business run well. We have also set high standards of performance across every area.

  • Our policy

We work to deliver the best products and services, at a quality that meets our customers' expectations, while safeguarding the safety and credibility of our investments and protecting the environment we operate in. We comply with the laws and standards governing quality and the HSE system, and apply practical measures to conserve resources, prevent pollution, reduce waste and limit production risk.

  • Innovation

Because we are always looking towards a better future, we pay particular attention to supporting technical studies and research, and to drawing on practical and scientific expertise to produce innovative ideas in development and modernisation.

Our focus

Four priorities that guide our work

  • Health

Licensed medical oxygen supplying hospitals, intensive care units and home therapy.

  • Energy

Gases that serve the oil and gas sector, and continuous improvement of energy efficiency at our plant.

  • Economy

Local production that reduces reliance on imports and supports Syrian industry.

  • Environment

Our raw material is air itself, and our process releases no polluting by-products.

Safe handling

Safety and gas handling

Compressed gases and cryogenic liquids are safe when handled correctly. These are the essential general precautions for anyone storing, transporting or using our gases.

Storage

  • Keep cylinders upright at all times, chained or restrained so they cannot fall.
  • Store in a well-ventilated place, away from heat, ignition sources and direct sunlight.
  • Separate oxygen cylinders from flammable gases such as acetylene — by distance, or by a non-combustible barrier.
  • Keep the valve protection cap fitted on every cylinder that is not in use.
  • Keep full and empty cylinders apart, and mark each group clearly.

Handling and use

  • Never use oil or grease on oxygen fittings or regulators — they can ignite spontaneously in compressed oxygen.
  • Use a regulator rated for that specific gas and pressure; never substitute one intended for another gas.
  • Open the valve slowly, and never force it with a tool if it will not open by hand.
  • Close the valve and vent the regulator after every use.
  • Never move a cylinder by rolling it or dragging it by the valve — use a proper trolley.
  • Check for leaks with soapy water, never with a flame.

Cryogenic liquid

  • Cryogenic liquid causes immediate cold burns on contact — wear insulated gloves, a face shield and full body cover.
  • Never seal a vessel containing cryogenic liquid; expansion as it boils off builds dangerous pressure.
  • Use only in a well-ventilated space — evaporating nitrogen or argon displaces oxygen from the air and causes asphyxiation with no warning.
  • Never carry liquid vessels in an enclosed cabin with people.
  • Use tools and metals rated for low temperature; ordinary metals turn brittle and crack.

Transport

  • Carry cylinders upright and secured, in a ventilated vehicle.
  • Never carry cylinders in the passenger cabin or a fully sealed compartment.
  • Keep valve caps fitted throughout the journey.
  • Make sure gas identification labels and hazard markings are on the load.
  • Do not leave cylinders in a vehicle standing in direct sun for long periods.

This is general awareness guidance. It does not replace the safety data sheet for each gas, nor proper staff training. The safety data sheet is the authoritative reference.
